Dear Annie: I’m a senior at college. I’m living with my boyfriend this semester, so we’re in identical “family unit” and so are in a position to be around one another without masks and social distancing.
I’ve been seeing my boyfriend — let’s call him Raul — for approximately a 12 months . 5 now. We’re getting along rather well, and I also can definitely envision a future together. But, here is the first relationship that is serious held it’s place in, together with two of us are likely likely to be in completely different places after the educational 12 months has ended. Raul’s applying to grad schools in European countries, and I’m trying to work with a nonprofit in america. Neither of us would feel great about permitting one other compromise their plans or aspirations or desires.
That apart, while I became back in Vermont throughout the start of the pandemic, i got eventually to fork out a lot of the time with youth closest friend — let’s phone him Vermont Boy — whom simply split up together with gf of 3 years. We felt that there was clearly a spark between us, but absolutely absolutely nothing took place within the summer time. Vermont Boy and I also happen texting every since day. He comes with comparable interests to mine and really wants to stay static in the States — in New England, ideally. At one point within the summer time, it felt as though we had been going to kiss, but i believe he held straight back since he knew I’m in a relationship. I’m glad we didn’t kiss, but In addition actually want we’d.
Personally I think such as pop over here the end is near with my boyfriend, but we reside together. Personally I think restless every right time i think of Vermont Boy.
